Then this is your chance to put your talents to work at Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs (OVO), a warm, dynamic, and ambitious non-profit organization that strengthens entrepreneurship in Africa.
As a volunteer with Team Matchmaking, you will contribute directly to the financing of entrepreneurial projects in Africa. You will use your communication skills, enthusiasm, and network to connect companies, funds, and sponsors with African entrepreneurs.
What can you do?
- Contribute ideas about strategies for approaching potential investors and companies.
- Contacting and visiting companies and organizations to discuss and initiate possible collaborations.
- Preparing dossiers for sponsors.
- Researching potential partners (companies, funds, networks, etc.).
- Account management and follow-up of existing contacts.
- Leveraging and expanding your own network. Meedenken over strategieën om potentiële investeerders en bedrijven te benaderen.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for volunteers who get energy from making contacts and building bridges. Do you recognize yourself in this profile?
- Strong communication skills and persuasive
- Positive attitude and results-oriented
- Driven to build sustainable win-win relationships
- Easy to network and collaborate
- Passionate about sustainable development and impact investments
- Good command of MS Office (mainly Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Professional and solution-oriented attitude
- Experience in Sales & Marketing is a plus, but certainly not a requirement; enthusiasm is the most important thing!
- Language skills: Good knowledge of Dutch and preferably English (internal communication is mainly in English)

Practical
Location: OVO's office is located in Heverlee, but most of the work is done from home
Time commitment: flexible scheduling, preferably 1 to 2 half-days per week, and we ask for a commitment of at least a few years.
