An Unforgettable Experience in Rwanda
Recently, Kigali, the vibrant capital of Rwanda, hosted our annual Boostcamp. This initiative aimed to support and enhance the entrepreneurial skills of 8 local businesses.
A Pioneering Training
The training provided by VITO brought together Afropreneurs, volunteer Business Coaches, and students from Thomas More. This journey was much more than a simple exchange of knowledge; it represented a genuine human experience. Each participant, whether entrepreneur, volunteer, or student, left enriched with new perspectives and renewed inspiration.
Incuti: A Rising Star
Among the 8 beneficiary businesses, Incuti particularly shone. The young company, known for its hot sauces, had the opportunity to host the Ondernemers voor Ondernemers team at its premises and participate in an intensive three-day Boostcamp. This event was a true immersion into the business world, enriched by the sharing of experiences, cultures, and, of course, the tasting of their sensational flavors.
Here is an excerpt from their enthusiastic testimonial:
"We've got some spicy updates for you! Last week, we had the tremendous opportunity to host the Ondernemers voor Ondernemers team at our factory and attend a three-day intensive Boostcamp. It was full of amazing business insights, sharing experiences, cultures, and of course, tasting our sensational flavors. Our hot sauces were there to bring heat, joy, and excitement to the dining tables!"
The excitement didn’t stop there. Incuti completely sold out of sauces during the Boostcamp, and their products are now being enjoyed as far away as Belgium. This success reflects their determination to elevate their business to new heights while having a positive impact on their community.
Inspiring Coaching
Lucie Somers and Elias Van Loon, dedicated coach and student, played a crucial role during this intensive week. Their expertise and passion inspired not only the entrepreneurs of Incuti but also all the participants of the Boostcamp. The bond forged between the coaches and entrepreneurs promises to bear fruit in the long term, with a surge of motivation that continues to grow during the online coaching sessions that extend the Boostcamp.
Conclusion
This Boostcamp in Kigali was a memorable adventure for all participants. The Afropreneurs benefited from valuable coaching, the volunteers enriched their human experience, and the students from Thomas More discovered new entrepreneurial perspectives.
Initiatives like these are essential to nurture the African entrepreneurial ecosystem and to build bridges between cultures and continents. Incuti, with its boundless energy and hot sauces, perfectly embodies the spirit of this Boostcamp and heralds a bright future for entrepreneurship in Rwanda. 🌶️🔥
