Green Business Area, access to electricity for a business zone

Many micro-entrepreneurs in Barouéli and its surroundings do not have access to electricity. The connection rate is 25% and there are many supply problems (power cuts, peaks). This energy no-man's land leaves little room for economic development in the region. Micro-entrepreneurs find themselves isolated, with no opportunities to expand their activities.

The creation of a Zone d'Activités Electrifiée (ZAE) will make it possible to offer shared energy services, optimize costs and promote links between the various economic actors (producers, processors and microfinance institutions).

With quality electricity, micro-entrepreneurs can develop economically. That they can also count on coaching and that project is based on solar energy strengthens this project even more.
